The Villa & Grounds
Villa Monestevole 501 is a serene B&B nestled in the Umbrian hills between Lake Trasimeno and Umbertide, Italy.
The B&B operates on a working olive farm with an organic garden producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil. Fresh produce from the organic garden and local artisanal items are incorporated into our events whenever possible.
The Villa is conveniently positioned for breathtaking day trips to destinations such as Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, Perugia (Italy’s chocolate capital), Orvieto, Castiglione del Lago, and Deruta, where world-class ceramics are created by highly skilled local artists. Because the Villa is so close to the Tuscan border, the towns of Montepulciano, Siena, and Cortona are also convenient day trips.
The grounds of the Villa are extensive and include an outdoor Plunge Pool, BBQ area, a Gazebo, Cabana, art studio (Atelier 501), organic garden, and olive & walnut grove. Both the Gazebo and the Cabana can be used as a mid-day respite from the sun or a charming location for a self-catered lunch or dinner. Guests will also have access to the Villa's balconies, living room, dining room, and most of the grounds of the farm.
