Jamie’s Cottage

This ~50 m2 cottage is named in honor of Katrina’s Father and is positioned in a private area on the estate about 200 meters from the main house.
Adding to the serenity and charm of Jamie’s Cottage is the private Cabana, outdoor lounge space, and BBQ area for the exclusive use of Jamie’s Cottage guests. On a clear night, it’s wonderful to relax outside and enjoy the expanse of stars undiminished by city lights.
Although guests at Jamie’s Cottage may also use the Villa’s plunge pool, in the summer months the Cottage is outfitted with an above-ground pool and sun loungers for their exclusive use.
Entry into the Cottage is through a doorway with both glass doors and traditional wooden Italian door shutters. Additionally, all of the windows in the cottage have shutters to help maintain a cool internal temperature. Both the shutters and doors can be locked from the inside.
The kitchen and dining space houses a dining table and chairs. The modern kitchen provides ample cabinet space along with a gas stovetop, an oven, a sink, and a refrigerator with a freezer. The small bathroom houses a toilet, bidet, sink, and standing shower. Shelves are provided for storage and a compact and secure safe is at your disposal for personal use.
The bedroom is anchored by a tiled headboard with a fashionable update to a traditional Italian design. The bedroom, divided from the other areas with a curtain, hosts a bed (American size = Queen, British = King, Italian = Matrimonial) with two bedside tables, an antique Armoire, and a chest of drawers.
Although this is a “self-catered” cottage, linens, towels, a hairdryer, and fundamental kitchen equipment are provided. There is a three-night minimum to stay here at the rate of €150 per night. Please note the exchange rate when considering the cost of the room.
Jamie’s Cottage has Wi-Fi access, but no TV. We don’t think you’ll miss it because guests typically come to Villa Monestevole 501 to unplug and recharge naturally in the unspoiled charm of the “green heart of Italy!”
