Rates for Villa & Cottage Stays
Rooms in the Villa are 100 euros per night.
Jamie’s Cottage is 150 euros per night.
There is a two-night stay minimum for a Villa Room.
There is a three-night stay minimum at Jamie’s Cottage.
Guests will have the choice to pay in their home currency or euros. Please note the exchange rate when considering the cost of the room.
Our rates are per room, not per person.
Note: These prices are for accommodation only. Requesting extra amenities, and services, or adding adventures will determine the final price of your stay.
Cancellation Policy for Villa Stays
If you cancel up to 15 days before your reservation, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you cancel 7 to 14 days before your reservation, you’ll receive a 50% refund.
If you cancel 0 to 6 days before your reservation you will receive no refund.
Note: We have no control over any cancellation fees that other booking sites may charge. Please be mindful of where you are booking if you’re not booking with us directly.
Deposits & Cancellation Policy for our Theme Weeks & Mini Breaks
We require a deposit of 1000 euros when you book a Theme Week package with us.
We require a deposit of 300 euros when you book a Mini Break package with us.
If you cancel up to 30 days before your reservation, you’ll receive a full refund.
If you cancel up to 15 days before your reservation, you’ll receive a 50% refund.
If you cancel 0 to 14 days before your reservation, you’ll receive no refund.
Note: Deposits are to secure your spot not only at the Villa but in the activities that are scheduled during your stay. For instance, our Yoga and Art Teachers have turned down other opportunities to participate in our events, and these professionals depend on this income to make a living.
The Fine Print
Villa Monestevole 501 is the home of Stuart, Katrina, and Orfie the Dalmatian. It is not a hotel with full-time staff.
Check-in time is from 3:00 PM (15:00) to 6:00 PM (18:00). New arrival guests needing to check in before or after these hours must coordinate with Katrina or Stuart in advance of their stay.
Quiet hours are from Midnight to 7:00 AM. Please be courteous to other guests if you are still active during these times.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Luggage storage is available at no extra charge.
Breakfast is available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Breakfast is in the “Italian Self-Service” style.
The perimeter of and the entrance to the Villa is gated. Guests not staying for a Theme Week or Mini Break must coordinate their initial arrival time with the owners to gain entrance onto the grounds.
Our rooms do not have TVs or Air Conditioning. Large room fans are provided in the summer or when the temperature necessitates their use.
The Villa Rooms and Jamie’s Cottage are equipped with WIFI.
Unless it’s reserved through a Theme Week or Mini Break, Jamie’s Cottage is “self-catered” and does not include breakfast.
Room cleaning/refreshing is provided every 3rd day of your stay. If you would like fresh linens and/or towels at a different frequency, please let us know and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate your request based on timing and staff availability.
Neither Smoking nor vaping is permitted in guest rooms, anywhere within the Villa, or on the Villa balconies. Guests who violate this rule will be charged a €300 special cleaning fee.
Smoking/vaping is allowed in designated outdoor areas only which does not include the plunge pool area.
To ensure the safety and well-being of all our guests, we reserve the right to decline alcohol service to any guest who appears visibly impaired or may become impaired with another drink.
Our Dalmatian, Orfie, lives on the premises. He is gentle and shy but will most assuredly bark upon your arrival and departure.
Villa Monestevole 501 is not wheelchair accessible and currently cannot accommodate children under the age of 12.
